Quinoa? Pizza? No way those 2 go together. Oh but they do and you wouldn't even know the difference in a blind taste test...TRUST ME! Although it takes time so does a true artisan pizza from Italy. Even up to 48 hours!!! Super easy to make and once you perfect it you will stick to this recipe and nothing more....
1 cup of quinoa
1/2 cup of water
1 tbl of italian seasoning
1 tbl of salt
1 tsp of garlic powder
1 tbl of olive oil
Place the quinoa in a large and cover with water. Let it sit for about 8-10 hours or overnight.
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Use a large, 12-inch cast iron or oven safe skillet drizzle with olive oil all over to prevent sticking. Place it in oven.
Drain the quinoa, rinse and place the quinoa in a blender. Add most of the water and the seasonings and pulse to incorporate. Add more water as needed, until the batter resembles a thick batter but not too thin like crepe batter. Pour the batter into the skillet and quickly spread it out evenly. Place in the oven and bake for about 10 minutes. Invert the pan onto a dish and place the other side of qunioa curst bake in the pan. Cook for another 10-12 minutes until crust is golden brown. Then you can put anything you'd like right on top and bake for another 5 minutes. Smacznego!!!
